Not being able to rejoin EU isn't actually correct. In a legal sense UK can rejoin. It would just need to go trough the standard procedure for it like other countries do. Then becoming a standard member instead of being a founding member. So no more special treatment. Politically though such a step might be extremly difficult.

Article 50 of the Treaties of the European Union (the article which governs leaving the EU) has a clause which explicitly mentions that rejoining the EU is possible after leaving it:
"If a State which has withdrawn from the Union asks to rejoin, its request shall be subject to the procedure referred to in Article 49."

Article 49, in case you wonder, is the general admission process which applies to all would-be new EU members. It requires unanimous consent from the EU council members and simple majority from the EU parliament. That means any EU member could veto the UKs re-admission.

As per usual Trump has managed to weigh in in an entirely moronic way. Thankfully the British people have a chance to vent.

Apparently a petition with 1.8m signatures in an attempt to reverse this:
Petition
Not going to work though.

Damn, brits are really going wild. I suppose the hangover started when every single leave promise was shown to be a lie by the politicians who pushed them.

Can we just stay in the EU and have a re-vote another vote in 10 years or so?

By then old the oldies who voted to leave will be dead and there will be more youngsters who want to move forward in the modern will and want to remain who will be old enough to vote.

That should allow the remain campaign to win by a few million I should think.

It's such a sad state of affairs when so many people voted but had no idea what they were voting for.

Leave voters have been misinformed and manipulated to the end. The entire smear campaign rested on premises that UK voters don't influence EU. It couldn't be further from the truth. I urge all EU based members of CNTO to start participating proactively in all discussions against the secession movement. This is not a joke and future will be much better if we beat the enemy immediately. We must act!

You may laugh but this is new kind of warfare being conducted against us - hybrid warfare. The battlefield is not clear and where once was a battle of space and maneuvers, now there is a battle for hearts and minds.

Ok, let's bring in heavy weapons - the facts. EU government is called commission. Commission is elected by member states, one from each state. Commissioner is proposed by government of the member state which was obviously elected by the people.

What does commission do? They enforce EU rules across EU and propose new ones like any government does. They have been doing this since EU was formed. However, all proposals need to be voted through EU Parliament like in any country. And Parliament is directly elected by EU people! So there is no "isolated and invisible government" here. Bigger countries have more Parliament seats and that's acceptable considering number of people. So basically, EU functions like any country would. The problem is that uneducated people vote for Farage to EU Parliament. What constructive can we bring to EU rules? He can only tear the place down. He will not slow down immigration nor produce more equal society. His only idea is destroying the union. It's like sending Hitler to a Jewish community meeting. Him and likes of him are our real enemies. Those campaigners should be taken on directly and aggressively. Their intentions are evil.

Few notes - when dealing in discussion with voters for leave campaign - don't label them as racist, uneducated, backward or xenophobic (even some undoubtedly are). Try to beat them with the truth and change their minds. Some of their concerns are valid and should be nicely explained and worked on. Saying that union can't solve problems is a myth. We have control because we are the union.

Farage only really attended the minimum ammount of required sessions in order to collect his pay check. Such is his disdain for the EU. And like you say, a lot of these leave voters were just protest voters trying to make headlines with a clear division, not tip the balance to a win, but at least demonstrate enough votes in protest of the EU in some sort of effort to make the UK be appeased by the Europeans. They're not racists or backwards, If anything they're pragmatic, though a little mislead. Unfortunately since a slight majority won the leave the EU vote, the racists and bigots are comming out of their shells a bit and saying what they really think. A small vocal minority. Britain First and sympathizers. They're as bad as football supporters visiting other countries and just as vocal.

TBH to me this says all I need to know about Farage:
"Farage: I admire Putin."
To anyone anywhere close to Russian border thats like saying "Hitler and Stalin were very pretty ok guys."

TBH the hate seems to be flinged around by both sides now. The intense open hatred for old by some and racism towards foreign nationals by others. They do seem to be the usual vocal minority that gets much more attention now.
I do still wonder about Scotland though. They might be for leaving in general but they would need to abandon the GBP and accept euro thus loosing any control over the currency. Don't know how well that will fly over there.

I doubt that Brexit itself has anything to do with hybrid warfare waged by Russia but they are without a doubt going to be fanning the flames as hard as they can.(This I assume what you are refering to since an UKIP party certainly can't manage a hybrid war.) You can just watch RT-s coverage and reaction to brexit for evidence of a Russian one. Brexit being Putins wet dream since it drives a wedge between ever-so-tight western countries.

But atleast there is money to be made on markets. So not all bad.
